Occupying an area of 20 thousand square meters, the memorial has only 600 square meters of built area. The rest of the space shelters a huge botanic garden with typical vegetation and a replica of the Nau Capitânia, the vessel that brought Pedro Álvares Cabral and his crew to Brazil. Descendents of the Pataxós Indians work as local guides

How to get there:
Take BR-367 towards Santa Cruz Cabrália. The Memorial is at Outeiro da Glória Beach, one kilometer away from the center of Porto Seguro.
